Her background in performing arts and art history fuels her process, she is deeply inspired by emotion, movement, and storytelling. Her passion to celebrate marginalized communities through the photographic medium is the focus of her work and personal projects. Believing imagery has the power to elevate communities through positive representation. 

She also is a co-founder of the creative non-profit By And For which consists of Black, Indigenous, and People of color (BIPOC) creative photographers who are committed to the work of social justice activism and community building through acts of service.
